Day 15 and settled in. by #94544 .....

Today is day 15 and I am really settled in this time. It is almost second nature. I do not have the fear or worry of failing as I am comfortable with the food, my body's needs, and the actions I need to take each day to thrive.

Last night I finally made the roasted red pepper hummous and it was dee-lish. I need to get those peppers over a wood fire instead of my electric oven broiler setting and it will really take off.

This morning I am thawing bananas for the food processor to whip up and throw in some peanut butter. Lunch? Hmmm. Oh - duh. Hummous of course with carrots. I need more greens. I had broccoli on Monday which made Tuesday unpleasant. But I need a power green in my life today. I don't care for raw spinach but maybe if I toss it with vinaigrette for dinner. That sounds about right. I'll hit the market after work to make sure I have everything I need to get me through til Sunday.

My joints have stopped aching. My head aches have gone away. My teeth and mouth are fresher. My face looks brighter and glows a little now. I have not really lost any weight. I have peanut butter everyday almost so I don't think that my calorie intake has gone down. A lot of dates and figs too.

I'd really like a couple of avocadoes. Need to pull a wheatgrass cube out of the fridge now and get my day going.
