In "Raw Milk: The Whole Truth" you can hear Dr. Dale Jacobson, DC make several references to goat milk. It should be noted that his interview of Mark McAfee appears to be guided by the "essays" on Milk, Dairy and related subjects in his "Information Booklet For Patients And Friends Of Jacobson Chiropractic". (In fact I believe that I would be doing the production justice by referring to these essays within the transcript that I have made of the first hour-long program on the DVD.) About the time that Dale graduated from California State University he attended a lecture of Dr. Jensen and was inspired to become a chiropractor. He took classes with Dr. Jensen, become an exceptional chiropractor (with considerable local fame in the Sierra Nevada foothills community of Grass Valley/Nevada City) and has been advocating raw dairy including raw goat milk to his patients for well over the past two decades.

Dr. Jensen: "Raw goat milk is one of the foods highest in sodium and it is easily assimilated. It seems to be very beneficial in cases of stomach ulcer and in rheumatic and arthritic conditions."

I like the title of the next chapter in this book: Prevention of Disease - Our Goal!

Jensen: "Through experiments and declarations by some of the most eminent authorities, it is known that there is no exception to the fact that raw milk is better for human consumption than pasteurized milk. ... it is better to go without milk than to use pasteurized milk. ... There is no argument with truth, and there is no doctor on the face of the earth who can truthfully say that pasteurized milk is better for human consumption than raw milk. Those who oppose raw milk only argue about sanitation and neglect consideration of the natural chemical balance and the immunity factors." Dr, Jensen goes on to say that there is a better way to deal with the concerns about milk health than through pasteurization and that is to assure the proper feeding of the animals.

Oct. 16, 2011 - The raw milk farmers and the movement as a whole agrees! The animals are rudiments and require a live "salad bar" pasture that they can freely graze. The small dairy operations I know that care for the health of their animals in this way have the absolute best quality milk you can possibly imagine! Just got notice today saying: "This month's lab test results are in. As usual, our milk is testing cleaner and lower in bacteria than any CDFA-regulated milk."
