Amazing! Is History Repeating Itself? by chef jem .....

Americans very urgently need to know where "Acts of Congress" pertain to. Proposed legislation appears to be an attack against organic and small farming nation-wide; however according to Fundamental Law do "Acts of Congress" truly have that power?

After my previous blog I have read a few notices circulating that are warning the American people on two items in Congress (HR 875 and SB 425) that are backed by Monsanto, et al with the typical hidden agendas of eliminating their competition namely organic and small farmers! Although these words-of-art, attorney-crafted and potential "weapons of mass destruction" do not deserve the support of any freedom-loving American I have another concern that I'm wanting to broadcast as far and wide as possible. I started talking about this in my most recent inquiry to a freedom-loving group that I'm just beginning to be introduced to:

" Greetings again dear Freedom-loving fellow Americans!

May I have your feedback on how I'm thinking on an issue? IMO "Acts of Congress" can only be read within the jurisdictional limitations that are enumerated in the Constitution. When read in this way, the American people can readily realize the freedom that their fellow Americans have who are not involved with certain activities (such as interstate commerce) that Congress has regulatory power over. Actually I have just searched my files and found an even more restrictive perspective on this:

'Act of Congress

An "Act of Congress" is policy, not law, and per definition located in Rule 54, Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, has only local application in the District of Columbia and other United States territories and insular possessions unless general application is manifestly expressed: Rule 54(c) -- 'Act of congress' includes any act of Congress locally applicable to and in force in the District of Columbia, in Puerto Rico, in a territory or in
an insular possession.'

I can say more about this (and earlier research I've done regarding an "Act of Congress" to form the department of Agriculture) but the point here is that I would very much appreciate your feedback as to the basic premise I've presented and then more specifically regarding proposed legislation that appears to be a potential attack against organic and local agriculture nation wide. "

If Americans can read HR 875 and SB 425 "within the jurisdictional limitations that are enumerated in the Constitution" then is there anything in these pieces that should still be of immediate concerned to those Americans who are living in the several states?

Thank you for listening!

Chef Jem
P.S. The "History repeating itself" is regarding the fact that Congress is proposing legislation on "Food Safety" that is supported by the food industry and it reminds me of the Pure Food Act of about 100 years ago that I referred to in my last blog.
