let me explain!!!!

Well this 14 day fast is going to have to turn into a 7 day fast. I have completely spaced the fact that next weekend is our annual all girl camp out "Camp Lak-A-Weenee" This was a tradition started by my mother and her friends when they were our age. Now the younger generation is participating and its a hoot!!! We camp out on beachfront property on a near-by lake, make a big 'ol sign displaying "Camp Lak-A-Weenee" and we get a male blow up doll and hang one of those red signs with a circle and a line through it on the appropriate area. Bad timing on my part but it will still be a great first fast! I just need to make sure I come off of it properly and don't do anything stupid.

As far as day 2 goes its been much easier than day 1. I didn't get much of a headache today, just a little tinge here and there. The cravings however have been pretty intense. The boys (I live with my boyfriend and his business partner) have waved delicious morsels past my face all day...not on purpose of course but I nearly caved in when I saw a bowl of popcorn with melted parmesan sitting on the table...if I could just chew it and then spit it out!!! Oh man that was tough. I have been craving a turkey sandwich from San Francisco Sour Dough all day long, along with ranch corn nuts and an everything bagel with cream cheese...oh my gawd, I have to stop :) The funny thing is, is its not really hunger. I mean yea, my tummy has done a bit of growling today but its mostly just cravings and wanting to chew on something.

I had a rather disgusting juice today. I did beets, carrots and spinach..ech! Gag me with a spoon! I just plugged my nose and chugged it. However for lunch I had pineapple, lime and lite coconut milk...AMAZING. Actually I might have it for dinner too...I want to eat everything in sight.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning but I just ran in there and hopped on the scale and holy moly it said 137! But I don't look 137 yet. I still have 5 more days, a far cry from the 12 more days but hey, Camp Lak-A-Weenee only comes once a year and I'm NOT missing it :)
