feelign lighter already!

I always find day 1-5 rather easy so right now i am feeling good. Better than yesterday that is for sure. Just so happy i have started this journey again. I know my toughest obsticle is going to be getting thru the boredom i find on a fast. In the beginning it is easy and then i get so bored with just juice or lemonade that i think oh to hell with it. so i have to have more of a plan to get thru this weekend and focus on all the good aspects. But altimatley i am going to feel so much better monday morning when i wake up on Day 8 cant wait for that feeling which for me is my first major milestone!
Yesterday i had mostly MC lemonade, water, one orange juice and some herbal tea at night to warm me up.
Today i will stick to that and maybe add in a different juice.
Strange thing happen last nigth i had stomach pains from BM's and was on the toilet a lot. This has never happened to me on the first day but i did have quite a bit of cayenne pepper. I also fasted two weeks ago for 5 days so maybe that helped things move along better. I feel so much lighter today just from having an empty stomach. I really cant wait to feel that lightness when im a week into and feeling the energy increase. Im not putting too much pressure on me to run this week i am hoping to get a few days in but mostly i am just taking it easy.
Thanks for words of encouragement. It is really nice to hear that my blog has helped others. I try to be really honest about how difficult it is to fast. I think it is one of the hardest things i have done but also the most rewarding journey. Even now when i talk about food becoming and issue with me it is not near to the point i was before my 30 day fast. I am still eating loads of salad, not enougth fruit which i need to increase. Majority of the food i eat is all home cooked and rather healthy by most standards. The thing that has got to me is the amount i am eating has increased significantly and i am starting to get the same feeling i use to get when i overate i felt bloated and fat but never full. However when i ate lighter and mostly raw i always felt really satisfied and not bloated. I ate less and felt better. Now i am also randomly picking at food and find at the end of the day i ate so much more than i had intended. I want to get back to me consciouly thinking about everthing that goes into my body and how it will make me feel. I liked this control and i didnt feel like i was missing out on anything and by no means did i look at it as a diet. IT was just a way of life for me for so long. ITs really only being since thanksgiving that i have fallen by the wayside. Anyway looking forward to gettign that back. I know i could do this with self control and probably dont need to fast but a fast to me is the altimate in self control so this is why i need to do it.
