Healing in the Sacred Space, purpose of the Neutral Mind

Date:   1/4/2008 12:36:47 AM ( 16 y ago)

It is helpful to the average man to relax into a mind/body spiritual meditative practice that relieves one of anxiety. Anxiety and poor self esteem are known pathogens to the immune system.

In my Sat Nam Rasayan study with the Sihks we did an interesting practice last nigh:

We were working on our partners immune system, by opening the sacred space and having the intent to balance and strengthen the immune system. Heady stuff...and I gotta admit I love to visualize which is the pitfall with beginners I visualized a auric etheric layer about 3 foot around the patient and added more ether and held the space of "immune strengthening" - let it go and then sat in a meditative quiet space while my patient partner "healed"

This is a very interesting feeling the intent to heal and the space holding by others and being in relation to others in the neutral healing space, where your own internal yap ity yapper is not helpful and can create resistance or block to healing and happiness.

the benefit is you heal while healing others since the opening of the space does not allow for anything else

One of the considerations we were asked to consider was, How is my self esteem?, What is my anxiety level? and how is my mental state at this moment? It tickled me to understand immunity has to do with self esteem and anxiety - of course once spoken it becomes a "no brainer" but before GM gave us the information my mind was looking for more concrete answers to the symtoms of a weak immune system.

So, how is your self esteem and your anxiety levels?

At some point one will become very good at holding the sacred space and just think one healed and then it will be so (Our friend Jesus had this ability) And so with some other healers I have met, one in particular who could hold the healing space and hara line for a hour.

I have met others who have too much of their own junk in the space to be effective, in fact, their own agenda causes harm. Personally they are a complicated and messy. One of them has such a quest for more money and stability in his practice and adoration by his patients that sexual overatures were spontaneous. This puts too much "other" (ie themselves) in the healing- so the healing is manipulative and requires them to be involved in all further endeavors of the patient to get well. (Self Serving and unethical)

I digress, there is a book I have just finished reading by one of the yogi's that explains the process but unfortunately some of the states healing are difficult to put words to and are mainly experiential. Quite frankly, had I not already been practicing this modality I would not have understood the book. If you are currently involved in any of the healing energy work this book may interest you

A conundrum? Aye, at it's finest! This reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw recently, " "Tolerates ambiguity better than most"

Welcome to the earth plane ;}
