Orange juice, baby!

Well here we are at last. Although, perhaps "at last" should be reserved for Sunday, when I can actually make my own food selections. But still, drinking the lemonade was really starting to get difficult, so I'm happy that part is done with. Even the tea, which on Day 1 tasted pretty good, was starting to taste pretty bland. And if I can get through 10 days of lemonade and tea, I can do 3 days of orange juice, soup, and salad.
Taking my first sips of juice now. Unfortunately, while I love orange juice, I don't much care for the fresh squeezed kind (frozen concentrate ... yum). The first few sips have tasted ok, a little sour, to be honest. Which is surprising, because I figured after 10 days of lemons, orange juice would taste delicious and sweet. Guess the maple syrup makes a difference. Sour though it may be, I don't think I'll have trouble staying on it.
As a treat for making it through (so far) I booked myself a lovely day at the spa on Sunday -- massage, facial and pedicure. Plus, the new Harry Potter book comes out that day. Food, spa, and Harry Potter -- sounds like a perfect day in the making.
