Post Fast Day 2

A slow and careful return to solid foods

Yesterday I did well and just ate my watermelon in little pieces throughout the day. For dinner I had some miso/vegetable broth. It was very salty to me so I didn't have much. My stomach felt fine and I was so happy about that. I was worried about the first day of solid foods and how my body was going to react. I lost another pound so now I am down 22 pounds. Today I have been eating grapes and I will probably have an all fruit smoothie for dinner. I don't feel the return of major hunger yet so I am happy about that. This whole transition phase after the fast is surprisingly easy and pleasant so far. I was afraid of the ravenous hunger I have read that some people may have when they return to solid food. I have also read that you can end up in the emergency room if you eat the wrong things to early so that is why I have been so careful. I am still having pain from my cyst so unfortunately I have not been able to return to exercise yet. Hopefully that will come soon. I still want to lose another 30 pounds to get to my goal and I want to be firm not flabby!
