There were 6,321 sexua| assaults in Minnesota in 2002, there were thousands of violent rapes. Where were the cops. Terrorism is a major concern at our major airports these days. but wait, In Minneapolis, a city that seems to treat rape against women as a sport. A city that has decided that setting up alleged gay victims at airport bathrooms for publicity is mor important than fighting real crime. Since 1993, Minnesotas rape stats are higher than the national average.

The pain of rape is invisible. It's not the physical scars or stitches that need to heal. Rape actually damages the brain when the victim develops PTSD from the trauma and the stigma. This is what needs to heal. Therefore the description of the rape-type needs to include it's psychological impact rather than solely the physical interaction.

"Though a rape victim may not sustain substantial physical tissue damage, rapists may inflict significant psychological trauma by asserting uninvited domination, control, and power over the unwilling other" (Brownsmiller, 1975). This is called victim impact.

But, that does not seem to be a concern for politicians in Minnesota. After all, they can get better ehadlines by entrapping a United States Senator from one of those "backwoods states" like Idaho?

But Minnesota Democrat and Reporter Dan Popkey decided he would bring down Senator Craig at any cost. Popkey, a die in the wool Democrat made it an obcession to destroy Idagho Senator Craig. Popkey even wrote about the importance of Democrats to gain control in the idaho Senate. Hmm, no favotitism there huh? Some call Popkey a "tool of liberal Democrat campaigns"

Craig did not plead guilty to sexua| misconduct. he plead guilty to misdermeanor disturbing the peace. Funny how Popkey would misinterpret this? This si common for many to plead rather than spend the time and money fighting a charge. the charge does not stay on ones record and drops off usually in 6 months and is sealed.

But the charges against Craig show the hypocracy of the media and liberals. Whom I always caleld hypocrits and liars and gay bashing bigots. Liberals in my view just pretend to care. But, the truth is that these self hating zealots would do anything to bring attention to themselves.

Meanwhile, My Former boss at the 2002 Olympics who ignored older security officers getting drunk on the job at Olympic headquarters . Also did not seem to be bothered by Older Olympic workers giving alcohol and seducing young girls. All of a sudden has ethics? Romney is nothing more than a flip flopping empty suit who will say anything to anyone to buy a vote.

Craig said in a statement issued by his office that he was not involved in any inappropriate conduct.

"At the time of this incident, I complained to the police that they were misconstruing my actions," he said. "I should have had the advice of counsel in resolving this matter. In hindsight, I should not have pled guilty. I was trying to handle this matter myself quickly and expeditiously."

Craig, 62, is married and in his third term in the Senate. He is up for re-election next year. He was a member of the House for 10 years before winning election to the Senate in 1990.
