Day 2 Oh, the pain. Boy, did I feel really rotten today. My headache is worse! I think I have a sinus infection--probably all the toxins coming out. A sinus infection is pretty standard for me when it comes to cleansing and detoxing just like the headaches. I started getting migraines/headaches back in 99-2000. Went to the doc and she sent me to a neurologist. I had a MRI done, everything was negative, except I was positive for a brain!! So now I had proof that I had a brain and no one could accuse me otherwise! So, for the next 18 months I was on 12 different anti-depressants and/or anti-seizure meds for migraines. It was the worst 18 months of my life! The side effects were horrible. *All this was before I learned about alternative health.* Finally after those 18 months I said "That's enough!" I'd rather deal with the headaches. They did find out that I had a bone spur at C4-C5 that was pushing on my spinal cord. We thought that was causing the headaches. In 2004 I saw 2 neurosurgeons about the bone spur. They both said that I wasn't bad enough to do surgery; but, because of the position of the bone spur, if I got whiplash I would be paralyzed! And I didn't want that kind of surgery, where they take out your vertebrae put in plates and screws and have to fuse.....NO WAY! On a spine forum they told me to talk to Dr. Jho, so I did. He was out of state, but he did a less invasive surgery. I sent him my films and he said that I was a candidate for his surgery. He sees people and athletes from all over the world, so I waited for surgery for about 9 months. Before surgery he told me that he didn't think that my headaches were from the bone spur--and he was right, they weren't. But the surgery went great! He took nothing out and put nothing in. He just went in and filed off the bone spur. COOL! Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I was feeling terrible! Just bending over made sharp pain in my head. I have to see the chiropractor to make sure of the sinus infection. I did really good other wise today. I made dinner for the family and I wanted some potatoes sooooo bad. Potatoes are my favorite!
