3rd Update
sinusitis, cortisone, candida, immune defiency
Date: 5/21/2005 7:32:35 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 4191 times 21st of May. Sinuses are so-so, pretty clear, but still alot of mucous when I blow my nose. Cheated a little on the smoking and overdid the HP I think, since my sinuses got worse and were really stuffed for a couple of days last week. Been taking Zoloft now for some time because of my depression, which began at age 10, probably due to sinusitis. Also added some omega-3's which I read are good for depression. Have some muscle spasming. I am still wondering whether the up-side-down flooding can reach the ethmoid and maxillary sinuses. My ENT specialist is going to call me on 26th of May, so I am going to ask him about that. I wonder whether my sinuses are too bad to ever get good again. I also wonder whether I have some sort of immune defiency, since it never heals, and since I have had it almost from the day I was born, although it might be due to my small nose.
In one of my earlier blogs I told you about my tough 6 years of extreme physical and mental illness, which I should have mentioned were due to Candida. After my 4th sinus surgery (for deviated septum) the ENT specialist saw I had alot of mucous and I told him I was always like that, so he gave me cortisone pills. I got infected with Candida, had leaky gut syndrome, severe angina, confusions and in the end hallucinations and delirums so bad I seriously thought I was insane or going insane, I was like this for several years, and even spent time in a mental hospital twice. Now I know it because of systemic Candida, which did a cleanse for and I am healed of that now, although I still have a green-coated tounge and when I do the candida spit test in the mornings it still indicated I have it. However, during my high-school years I think I also may have had Candida. Ahh...I am such a sickling. If I had lived before the age of antibiotics I would probably have died during childhood. My tonsils were removed when I was 5, because they were so swollen. All my life I have breated through my mouth, resulting in a narrowing of the upper jaw to almost a V-shaped form. At times when my sinsutis is really bad, my hair can get so dry and crisp the barbers have told they have never seen hair that dry before. Also, when my sinusitis is bad my face gets all swollen (edema), and although I rarely weigh over 135 pounds, I get double chins and huge puffy cheeks.
