Here i stand; lookin' down upon the ages-
In my hand, (with my heart upon these pages)
All my life,,was broken shattered dreams
(trapped in time).. an endless memory.
Cold, Hard nights; w/the angry voice of strangers;
Constant knife; in the heart to make it plainer..
No one cares, (who's crying from the pain)
No one shares, (a shelter from the rain).
& when i look inside the eyes of thsoe around..
It's all that i can see, (a way to bring me down)
& so i try to hide the child inside of me-
and never dream (no never dream );

Who is she? (to think she can complain?)
Latent Love- (is such a common thing).
Mothers' voice- (she cannot understand)
this..(my choice).. to seek a tender hand.
Like a child, (i'm never getting older)
my desire? - a hand upon my shoulder.
Holding me/ (to take away the fear)
Loving me/ (to wipe away the tears)
but when i look inside/ i hear a silent scream..
(it's just the echoe of -the dying of a dream )
& so the child inside will never , ever be..

Empty floors.. (i don't have much to give)
Plain & poor.. (i'm reaching out to live)

how'd i find? (a true friend after all? )
& when i look inside the beauty of your soul..
it's all that i can see (a child begin to grow)
& when you touch my hand, you lift me to the skies..

& when i look inside, i see a gentle rain..
the shelter of your smile -can wash away the pain.
& make the chains become a faded memory-
