poem

........................
I once met an angel that fell from the sky
(battered and bruised; with 2 blackened eyes)
she said; (when i asked what had happened, & why?)
"The world always shoots at the things in the sky"
I sought then to learn of mysterious worlds-
(that high in the heavens did sparkle and swirl)
She pondered on this/ & then carefully said,
"You'll learn all THESE things, soon enuff when you're dead"
"To open a package.. before it is time,
is somewhat like grapes.. being held next to wine.
Best just to know that the sights you now see,
are not always quite what they might seem to be. "
"& rather than reaching for worlds to explore,
might you consider ... the deep hidden doors?
that lie all around you .. (embedded in hearts)
cause if you re asking;.. it's where (I) would start."
"For in every soul, there's a star burning bright;
Forged and created by Heavens' first Light.
& many the treasures= (now tarnished by strife)
that once filled their eyes w/the wonders of Life"
"Sift if you will, thru the dreams of the past
(i'm telling you now of the treasures that last)
& if by surprise/ you find one heart- so true..
you won't need advice, (you will know what to do ).
"So don't fritter dreams on the stars in the sky..
(you can't carry worry- if high you would fly)
& if you would reason, (as Time hurries by)
The mysteries of Life are still yours when you die"
"& just one more thing, (I would place in your head)
(to hold in your heart- ) (if by kindness you're led)
THESE WORDS; (she then whispered w/tears in her eyes)
Be careful when shooting at things in the sky "
