Hooray for me!
Tomorrow is my 59th birthday.
I have a copy of "Rekindling of
Faith" in hand, and this preface
to the Third Edition. It is amazing
that I did this today. It is
my birthday present to myself.

It is the eve before my 59th birthday.
Tomorrow I start counting toward 60.
I am a scribe for peace.
I am Job, the Prophet.
I am in my time of Return.
This book is my Prayer for you.
I see sacred foods growing.
I feel the appreciation of Arab friends.
I see my closest family farmers,
in recent years feeling downtrodden,
again full of spark and hope.
see my own home growing as
a Center of Enchanted Garden Activity.
I feel a quiet resolution to be the parent
my own inner child, and to accept
more and more love around me.
I see the path toward more fertile Soul
in the world moving through our
original pain work. I am here
to allow my life, and this book, to be a testament
to the progress.that this is possible.
World Peace is breaking out inside me
and through me. I see more and more people
realizing we no longer have to fight over
Holy Land. Why fight, when earthworms
can grow as much Holy Land for us as we need?
Through my eyes,
I sense I am recording
the History of Peace on Earth,
The history of the earth and its human
flowering. Our Renewed Earth is the
Enchanted Garden,
and you and I, its gardeners.
I see in you the courage
to experience your life
as an act of Faith, and as a
“Rekindling of Faith.”
