The Future of Food Update
Got a letter back from Deborah
Garcia, the creator of The Future of Food.
Here is my response and her e-mail.

I know that The Future of Food is going to be as popular as Fehrenheit 911. My job as Your Enchanted Gardener is going to be to HOLD the SPACE for this to happen. This is the work I do spiritually through the literally planting of Seeds connected to Seed Dreams.
Our showing of The Future of Food last Friday night, in coordination with The Light Connection was highly successful. I closed out the evening having everyone
repeat the words to the World Peace Celebration Declaration
of Interdependence, a document I authored in the 80's that was signed by thousands of people.
I am bringing it out again and would be honored if you would sign it as well as become an Enchanted Garden Club
Member.
I have been living and breathing solutions to help our beloved earth see a bright future for The Future of Food.
I know we can have this. I handed out many heirloom seeds
at our event. This is part of the work I do. Seeds of Change are one of my sponsors...I am in their donation seed
program.
We just finished the International Feng SHhui Conference in San Diego . We had 60 Sustainable Living Innovators from around the world. I am having an impact on the
Hilton San Diego Resort, where we had three days of "The Enchanted Gardener's Lunches." We had organic and biodynamic foods from local farmers served at the Hilton.
Their is a Green Lodging Program that is coming into place
at this Hotel . We will plant an Enchanted Garden here at the Hotel.

I may be heading for Sacramento to lobby that Senator Dean Flores's amendment to the California Seed Law not be passed.
I am friends with John Vasconcellos,inspiration behind the Politics of Trust network. He just termed out as a Senator after many years of service. He is hooking me up with his friend colleagues in Sacramento.
I would like to make sure that the people at the Capital
see the film.
I am also personal friends with Katrina Frey. I imagine
you know them. They used your film to help defeat
in Monsanto in Mendocino County last year.
At our showing, there was a deep need expressed by numbers
of people that they wanted the film now. They wanted to pirate it--make copies of the copy I had bought. I, of course, was telling them the theatrical release strategy and also that you deserved the profit and this was not
a good thing to do. I am sure you can imagine why they are feeling such a need to have the film so they can show it to all their friends.
We will do our best to schedule other showings and as I see it, the unavailability of the film right now is an impetus for community to come together.
I look forward to doing some events with you and using
the handing out of heirloom seeds and the reciting of the Declaration of Interdependence to create more collaboration
now. Collaboration is the key to a bright future for food.
