I am Susan Miller Madeley, and I am the Educational Manager at the Tree of Life. I am also an Essene student and Gabriel is my spiritual teacher. From him, I have daily spiritual instruction which includes many traditions, including the Essenes and the Native American. For me, the Essene workshops are an intense yearly replenishment of spiritual inspiration on a studious and experiential level. This will be my 4th year. I attended each one from my first month at the Tree as an office assistant. There are so many experiences with the Essene education and the visionary channeling that feel real and connected for me. It is the truth bringing peace and comfort to my spirit. The people who come to the workshops are uniquely loving and present. The program brings the finest participants and it accentuates the Divine in human nature. The Essene group energy becomes an embodiment of intimacy through spiritual connection.
As I receive Gabriel's patient and loving exposure to the Kabbalah I start to connect on a deep level to this mystical art. The teachings go even deeper with the Ophanium, the yoga postures which bring in and reflect the energy of the Hebrew alphabet. Actually feeling the energy of each of the letters keeps me aware of the power of the body and of my interlaced connection to all that is.
Each year, Gabriel facilitates Kevin's channeling session with questions that take us deeper into those mysteries. It is really fun to hear Anton Rae (a priest from Egypt) tossing his wit at Gabriel and seeing the joyful connection between them. It is also amazing to be on the edge of discovery as the entities bring in spiritual practices and rituals for us to explore in class. My first year, we did a spiritual leader initiation ritual on Gabriel and Shanti which brought a deep awareness of Gabriel and Shanti‚s spiritual commitment and surrender to the Divine, an example to emulate.
In each of these learning and ritual journeys I have felt my heart opening more and my faith growing firm in the recognition that I am truly blessed. I am blessed purely by being. The Essene II workshop last year included a phenomenal climax, when each of us was affirmed and recognized by the Arch Angel Michael during our last channeling session with Kevin. The content of the message was that the Divine wanted to thank us for our dedication and devotion and was pleased with the ritual expression of this in that moment. This was a first time entry of that entity (Arch Angel Michael) for Kevin. It blew us all away with the power and love of the experience.
This year promises to be as fruitful and is offering us the additional loving perspective and offerings of Leslie Goldman. I met Leslie in San Diego at an Essene gathering which brought the Tree of Life to his home. Leslie is an avid Essene with considerable knowledge. His real strength is his loving energy and ability to generate that same energy in others. Leslie will grace us with his love and will donate his special training as well as be available for lunchtime talks.
