The AAAS (AAAS - The American Association for the Advancement of Science) was an enormous biotech conference I attended a decade or so ago in San Diego. Because of it, I was stunningly awakened to the intertwined relationship of government with science—as AAAS promotes it. The key leaders I saw were clearly in the pro-GMO camp.
One of the first folks I met was touting his book about plans to colonize Mars. I believe this is the plan B for our dear President who may be among those who feel that we can disregard life here and ignore Nature’s Original Technology—N.O.T.
I like this interview with Yvon Chouinard, owner of Patagonia, that opens like this:

I believe the #PlantYourDreamBlog Campaigns and projects, including the #EnchantedGardenClub and my legacy of writings and poems are here to support the inevitable transition to more and more of us coming home to live on Earth fully. Growing our own food and adopting local farming families will be part of the shift. This is Regenerative Agriculture as I see it. The Earth and the Soul are reunited again as Soilmates. The Enchanted Garden. a name for our Renewed Earth, established itself as more and more of us live our purpose.
I left the Climate Collaborative
March 5 at #expowest with a clear, powerful positive feeling that our people-powered grassroots initiatives are at the forefront of leading us out of the desert ( so to speak) and back to living on Earth as an Enchanted Garden.
I want to salute all the good I saw at #expowest.
It does not matter the mistakes we may have each made or the animosities we might harbor toward those in our own industry—en route to creating the GAP we now experience. All the Earth asks is that we do our part-our individual part-in learning to get along, and forgive—constantly—even our own “dis-eases” and others who seem so apparently different than who we imagine we are.

There is no greater team player on Earth than the earth Herself. She is here to inspire our soul growth.
She will give us as many disasters as we need—her wake up calls. She will give us “A Moment of Awakening”— until we overcome the ultimate disaster - that we fail to see we are “All-One” as the Dr. Bronner's bumper stickers say. We are here to “Coexist” in love. We are here to do “Random Acts of Kindness and Senseless Acts of Beauty.”

We all need more reasons to live than reasons to die. It is dreams and living them that regenerates life and our individual lives.
