Day 2 - Full Fast Day #1
Day 2 - First day of full fasting
Date: 1/5/2016 5:06:20 AM ( 8 y ) ... viewed 767 times Today was good, started to feel a gentle sense of lightness that comes with fasting - gentle is a good word for today, it went easily - thought I might have a light soup dinner but I didn't feel the need to so have completed a full day of fasting.
I did a lot of cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the house - a load of laundry and some kitchen cleaning - the place is more sparkly and feeling very clear - I had a great 45 minute jam that went really well with my friend & after all that had a nice bath, a sauna & did a bit of book work and business before winding down with a session of gentle yoga as the sun set.
I've had a serious muscle spasm all throughout December into early Jan - its much better than it was a week or so ago, still there though & I find when I attempt to do some yoga my neck starts to hurt afterwards. I'm being very careful to do any yoga and stretching very gently not to aggravate the injury or strain but to help unlock the body - its been very slow going and frustrating - at least I'm not feeling the pain I was a little while back
It's 10pm now, just doing mantras and watching "Gotham" which I just discovered - resting and will have an early night tonight and continue my fast tomorrow.
