Hey everyone, I am on day 1 of my 14 day water fast. I completed a 21 day juice fast back in February and I felt the best I have ever felt. I have been battling candida, parasites, and systemic inflammation for the past year now. I read back through my juice cleansing blog and I sounded euphoric in all of my posts. I cannot wait to have that feeling back. I slipped back into some bad habits.. namely drinking coffee. I eat quite healthy.. mostly vegetables and fruit. I very rarely eat meat or dairy as they are both mucus-forming. I also think that I have an excess of estrogen in my body so I am hoping to balance my hormones during this journey. I just bought a near infrared sauna that is expected to arrive on Monday! I am so excited to finally have a sauna in my own home that I can use everyday.

I will only be consuming water during the next 14 days. I have water fasted several times over the past few years. The longest one I've done thus far was 9 days back in December. Anyone can water fast.. that's not the hard part. The extremely difficult part is breaking the fast in a very strategic manner and not letting the food cravings overtake.

I am planning to break the fast with orange juice and drink that for three days and then after that eat fruits/veggies combined with intermittent fasting (feeding window will probably be 12 pm-7 pm, and following proper food combining principles.
