Yes, I am still here and juicing! Been super busy at work so not much time to blog, but I will try to do it at least every other day. Ok rewind... Day 2 was a bit detoxy but not too bad. I had a lingering headache behind my left eye all day and felt a bit tired and weak. Other than that all was well. Still finding it hard to drink 4 litres of juice. That's alot of juice in one day along with water, tea, and coconut water! But I haven't felt hungry. Only those mental cravings for the taste of food, but no actual physical cravings at all.
I don't have a scale and don't weigh myself so there will be no calculations of how many pounds I've lost on this blog, but I do feel lighter already! A few of my clients have mentioned how good I look even though it's only been a few days! I can tell if I've lost weight by how my clothes fit and feel instead of by numbers on a scale.
Day 3 was ok as well. Had a wheatgrass shot from Booster Juice and still had a bit of the left eye headache. I did a wonderful restorative yoga class that night which was amazing... very slow, deep, soft, postures, which is just what I needed. Day 4 was a long day at work so felt pretty depleted by the end of the day. Most likely due to the fact that I drank only about 2 litres of juice in total and not enough water. Need to be better prepared for those long work days in the future. Didn't feel detoxy at all which is great. Again, more mental cravings when I got home to eat something yummy but nothing physical. Drank a tea and it passed. Today is the start of Day 5 and I feel a bit worn out from yesterday but ok and no real detox symptoms again. I am planning to try a yoga class this afternoon and then go for a massage. Mmmm... Will post more at the end of Day 5.
