Preparation for water fasting

1. What is the purpose of the fast?
To get closer to god, re-conncecting with god, getting rid of problems and deppression in my life.
2. What is my biblical basis?
To find god, to find myself, soul searching
3. What other factors influence this fast?
lost myself, depression, lost connection with god, weight issue, sadness, sorrow, loss
4. What fast will I choose?
I am choosing a water fast
5. When will I fast? For how many days?
I will fast for 21days, From October 20th 2011 to November 10th 2011.
6. Why is this fast best at this time?
I feel like I am losing myself everyday, I am afriad even the little things I am holding on to that makes me who I am, I am afriad I am going to lose those qualities. I feel I cannot go on in life without God's help. Jesus is all I have.
God being my strength and grace being my basis, I commit myself to the above fast. I trust in god that he will guide me through the temptations and through this journey. I love you Jesus.
I will only be eating fruits and vegetable today and I will be starting my water only fast tomorrow
