How I managed my time when I came home.
I came home with two many things
to do.
I wanted to go right to my room
to capture the tremendous
insights given me by investing my
time in a long trek to find the
Chula Vista Public Library.
I got lost. I did not have the
right directions.
I was as usual doing too many things.
I get busted from doing this.
I knew that it was very, very important
to attend this event at the Chula Vista Public Library.
The beginning of the program was
also a informative. The Librarian at PCOM,
Naomi, was organizing some of the program.
She was explaining the resources of the PCOM Library
at services that could be valuable to my research
capacity on the Plant Your Dream Blog.
Thank you Naomi,
I went because I wanted to experience this.
I wanted to support Warren Sheir, who is my supervision
of the shift I do each week at PCOM.
We have grown close over the years.
He has witnessed my ongoing progress and issues
for numbers of years. It is good to have this continuity.
I also have been given insights into his personal
life and patterns.
I consider myself a part of the PCOM community.
This is not fully acknowledged.
I go there every week, unless I am out of town
as a service not only to myself, but the students.
The main thing I gain is interacting with
a healing arts community.
I have been bringing flowers to PCOM for many years
in trade for acupuncture. I get the flowers from
JR Organic, one of my primary food growers.
My intent is to have more and more students
shop the Hillcrest Farmers' Market, and the North Park
Farmers' Market.
My intent is that more and more students
and staff join the JR Organic CSA that delivers at
PCOM on Thursdays around 1:20 PM.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO ALLOW EVERY EXPERIENCE
INTO OUR LIVES
My niece eva was responsible for helping
me affirm this. I just turned the sound down
so I will not hear the emails coming in.
These are a distraction.
They take me off into different directions.
I cannot do all I want to do today
or any day.
I sit at the computer all day.
I am not leading a balanced life.
My right arm increasingly needs attention.
I have pain in it right now,
but I am continuing to type.
What experiences I say yes to;
What experiences I say no to.
These are my decisions.
Others come into my life bringing
me opportunities to grow.
I am in the drivers seat of my life.
I can say yes or no.
It is my responsibility to grow
into managing this.
Through taking time to
keep my Garden Management Journal,
I am slowing down.
Through this I am remembering
the parts of my self.
The Garden is a metaphor for consciousness,
one unbroken wholeness in flowing movement.
Being the Management is my responsibility;
Keeping a Journal is a tool to focus
and harvest insights and wisdom from
the experiences I have.
We must take time, we haven't a moment
to lose, said Dr. Bernard Jensen,
my spiritual father,
who brought me to the PCOM community.
He opened the opportunity.
I went through the door.
