Poised to revolutionize the mining industry, Purcell has dedicated over $5 million in capital to the development and launch of exclusive technology and capabilities to meet the global large haulage tire shortage. Purcell Tire is currently the only tire retreading company in the world to offer segmented mold retread systems designed to produce both 4000R57 and 46/90R57 haulage tires, as well as 52/80x57 thru 55/80R57 tires.

Although major international rubber companies have launched expansion efforts in an attempt to meet the worldwide shortage, large haulage tires are expected to remain in short supply through 2012. Purcell Tire%u2019s expanded retreading services specific to large mine tires began operations as of February 24th, 2007, and are initially being offered to companies with mine operations based in North America.
