Much constructive conversation took place during breaks, at the wine reception, sponsored by Mendocino Wine Commission, and throughout the conference. And though the lackluster economy was in evidence this year, the real decisionmakers showed up and turned out for the Hollywood Goes Green Conference to further the dialogue and deepen the work. And on a very earthy note, The Enchanted Gardener (aka Leslie Goldman), who was everywhere at the conference with KEEP the BEET Media Star, The World's First Talking Beet Plant, said "I am committed and excited about my project to create a nation of gardeners."

Well, let me tell you these are certainly Shifting Times, that ask us
each to get our beat back with nature!
Take March 11, 2011. The day that 500 organic industry
leaders met to galvanize the organic movement; and 5500 miles away,
Mother Earth was sending a message in Japan that we have no other
choice now but to stand up for Nature's Original Technology.
Nothing else is going to get us back to being what we were born
to each be, an Organic Uprising!
First things first...
How was your winter?
Leslie had the the most severest of Winters.
There were vacancies on the homefront at the Enchanted Garden
Intentional Community growing grounds. When Your Enchanted Gardener
doesn't have time to be in the garden, and time to be by himself,
he can go stark raving mad! When vacancies are needed, that becomes his full time job! Now that is a problem. I already have him working full time!
Aside from being my chauffeur in the Enchanted Garden Mobile, my
68 VW Van than is heading out to the schools to uplevel nutrition and
share natural products with the various student bodies,
I have got a whole lot of projects I want him doing.
Our main project is of course, Beet Keepers, Return!
I mean, how can a person hear the beat of nature if they do not have
nature contact? I have a friend named Joseph Chilton Pearce who once
told me about women in Africa. When a new mom is about to give birth, or her baby has needs, she naturally knows the timing. She has the beat.
Today, our kids know more about the Technology of Apples than they know about apple trees. The original apple tree in the Garden of Eden, one of my favorite gardens in the whole world, needs compost!
More and more people are sitting at computers, rather than tending
the incredible array of Nature's Original Technologies that are right here
on earth! Many scientists today, were never breastfed. Our very own
US President, although he was breastfed, he still breastfeeding today
off of a handful of corporations whose Corporate Execs have totally lost touch with the "beet."
Times are Shifting! I would use the word
change, but I have to tell you, there really isn't such as thing as change! There is really nothing new under the sun. You, as a human race, still keep racing and doing the same ol same ol. Everywhere
I send Leslie these days, I have him do a Take Two for Planet Earth!
with one of those Hollywood Goes Green scene changers that they use
on the set where I envision my Keep The Beet Movie being made.
Back to March 11. Leslie was on vapors.
I needed to get him up to the Natural Product Expo West in Anaheim, CA
March 10-13, #expowest on Twitter.
That was the day when the great Plant Maker and a little bowl full
of organic alfalfa sprouting in a BioSmart Sugar Cane Bagasse compostable container, had called together more than 500 of her Organic Industry leaders to start talking. Cohesiveness from bottom to top is now needed!
5500 miles away, at that same moment, there was the 9.0 earthquake in Japan.
Do you get it? We all have to stop living as an earthquake waiting to happen!
The disaster in Japan saddens me terribly. How many times do we have to learn the same lessons? There will always be earthquakes. There will always
be earth and human movements that are here to bring us back to our
common senses!
So that's my message, Beet Keepers, grow your beet in a pot.
Turn your beat around now, and invest in the Bank of Compost.
Be the Tipping Point, an Organic Uprising! Now is the time.
This is the moment. Nature's Original Technology is here to stay,
and our children will never forgive us if we do not make the right
choices now. Our world is an Enchanted Garden.
