Day 5 of Water Fast

I woke up late again and I missed Church service, which I was really kind of looking forward to going to. I think that my body is just feeling a bit tired and run down. I have to say that I don't feel too horrible, but I can definitely feel a “tired” feeling, as my body is using fat to supply my energy supply. It get spurts of energy and then I wind down really quickly once that spurt of energy is gone. It isn't fun.
My urine is a bit frothy now, and I am well within the moderate level of ketones, when I urinate on a strip. It hasn't made me nauseous at all yet. My sense of smell is really acute again, as well as I can breath freely. I will have to check in my last couple fasts to see how I was feeling then, because I believe I feel much better now during this fast, then I did the last couple times. I hope that is a sign that my healthier eating has been paying off! I will just have to see.
Today's Lenten Focus for March 13, 2011
Give us heart of worship
Read: John 4:23
Today I focus on praying that our families would worship God in Spirit and in Truth. And that people in our community who are far way from God wold hear His voice and come to worship Him.
Prayed a bit for various people in my life, sometimes people that popped up in my head that I haven't thought of in years. It was nice to talk to God about the people that I still wonder about at times and pray for their good healthy and happiness in their lives.
My day was pretty boring as I did NOTHING. When I say nothing, I mean NOTHING. Other then taking two showers, and walking around my house, and reading my books. I did nothing but lay in bed all day. I have to say that it was an interesting bit of time for me. My body enjoyed it, yet it many ways it did not as well. I got restless and had to walk around, but then I got tired again, and crawled in bed once again. I think I need to get a different mattress, as I believe that one that I have is just not supportive enough for me anymore. It might just be me at this time, because of my fast. I don't know.
My tongue is pasty white and my breath smells bad, which Mekong keeps sniffing when she lays on me. It is nasty! Then again, she has bad breath too (I need to go get her teeth cleaned). I noticed that I am looking really thin in the abdomen area, and the horrible little pouch of fat sticks out like a sore thumb. When I see it, I just get more determined to get rid of that little suc***. That is what it is like to me, like a crescent leech of fat that is unmoving from my belly/hip area. I will burn the fat leech of my body with exercise and fasting. It will not live on my body any longer. LOL
I guess one good thing I did is finish my book, Legend of Nightfall. At least, I accomplished something productive other then praying and reading a bit of my Bible today.
