Day 3 Recap and Day 4
Water fasting; Day 3
Date: 7/18/2010 9:43:12 AM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 33467 times Well day three was rough to say the least. It started with very little sleep the night before. Luckily I was able to take a couple of catnaps throughout the day. Art some point it was decided that we needed groceries. As I am the one who handles all of the cooking and shopping, I had to leave the house.
Driving around to different stores was difficult. I felt like I wasn't in complete control of the car. Once I went inside the stores I was walking very slowly. It took twice as long as usual for me to navigate the aisles.
By the time I got home I was wiped. My body felt like it weighed a thousand pounds and my stomach was twisted up in cramps. I made dinner for my family taking frequent breaks during the cooking process. My husband had wanted homemade fish-n-chips. The smell of the fried fish almost made me break my fast. I controlled the craving by making some fasting tea that really helped bring everything back under control.
Today is day four and while sleep was still erratic last night, I seem to have a bit more energy. I've discovered that SmartWater really does hydrate me better than my normal filtered tap water. So I'm sipping on that this morning. My digestive system has been expelling a bit of gas and my breath is foul. I can tell I'm starting to lose a little weight just by looking at my profile and my clothes fit. Once again I don't want to weight myself everyday as I don't want to focus on the numbers so much.
Here's to making through day four and onward to day five.
