Blog: Eradicating fear, reaching for the skies!

So far so good.

Now that I put time to relax I feel a lot more satisfied with myself, and I know that I at least did my best with what I had and knew.

When I was making a mind map of what to focus on to increase the vitality of the body and mind, I realized how much knowledge really I lack! So I started searching for this knowledge on the web, but as I searched I slipped back into bad habits, and was side-tracked, and not actively searching for the specific knowledge I needed.

And the day after I was mapping my mathematical knowledge, and pretty much the same thing happened.

That was just stupid, I should have focused, just for the first day I should have focused completely.

Today:
You could say that I am a programmer, a game programmer and designer mostly. And today I set out to create a new physics engine/simulator for a game that I'm making.
This is what I wrote in my documentation of this project:
"My genral plan is sufficient, and that is to simply keep calm and focused, and I will relax my mind completely and do deep breathing for 5 minutes after about 30 minutes of hard work (or whenever I'm improductive). This is simply a lot more efficient than just working on and on, and then perhaps getting a complete mental block. The neurotransmitters in the neurons become depleted after using them, so the brain needs to be recharged whether you want it or not, or think you need it or not. Even the brain of a completely heathy child needs to be recharged after use.
Well, the important thing is that I don't let my mind wander."

And it worked! But I didn't succeed, I set out to complete a simple version of the engine today.
But after a half day of work I changed my mind, because I have a much more important project that I need to work on.
This new project is a tool for programming more efficiently, and understand programs much better.

After I chose this project instead I didn't change my dedication, in fact I could push myself even better.
But now I'm just taking a long break to refresh my mind.

So my conclusion is that it's not so painful as I imagine to push myself to my limit no matter how I feel.
I will continue to work hard each day, but to keep my habit of relaxing completely after about 30 minutes, and to relax completely for about a continuous hour each day.
And put off time for breathing exercises and other exercises, and preparing juices and my milk and all that.

Now that I put time to relax I feel a lot more satisfied with myself, and I know that I at least did my best with what I had and knew. Unlike the previous days.

Yet, I haven't really been productive, but soon I will truly get into this again, and I will be productive every secound!

I truly feel like I can keep this up!
