Why is my face so oily?
Date: 7/30/2008 9:59:42 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 3422 times It is getting easier to get through the day without getting hungry. The 100% lime mixture has helped, made it easier to drink more lemonade/limeade.
Don't know if this is a side effect but my face is putting out oil like it did when I was a teenager. I'm 42 years old and just in the last few days my forehead and nose are actually beading up with oil. It's been 20 years since I've had to deal with that. Is this a result of the fast or the oil-washing? I don't know. Interesting.
I am getting a little concerned about the tongue problem. It's not getting better and its painful. I'm thinking it's the acid in the lemons and limes because it always hurts more while I'm drinking. It just occurred to me that about 8 years ago I wasn't fasting then, but I went on a lemonade binge for a few weeks drinking cup after cup of regular lemonade (with sugar) and had a reaction that I finally narrowed down to the lemons. Maybe my body can't tolerate so much citric acid. If the oil pulling doesn't help in the next day or so I'll probably bring this fast to an earlier end than originally planned. I think I can hang on until day 10, but that may be it. I'll have to come up with a plan B.
Still have several eliminations each day. Glad to get that stuff out. Guess I'm just full of crap. : )
