I am in one of those Moments.
Dr. Bernard Jensen's teaching
is up for me.
"We must Take Time. We Haven't a Moment to Lose!"
These are incredible Moments
that will determine Major Decisions and Outcomes.
This is a week of Tremendous Potential Movement.
I am Scheduled to leave for Los Angeles on Wednesday.
This is Monday.
I have a full day today.
Oh, I just remembered.
The Call I would like to make to Rick Frishman in New York
would likely not be answered right now. He could be taking
the day off for Memorial Day, but then again, knowing him,
he might be in the office prepping for his trip to L.A. as well.
Rick is scheduled to teach Author 101 on Thursday with the MEGA Tribe--
Mark Victor Hansen, et al Friends.
I am more interested in Reconnnecting with this Old Publishing Tribe
than I am sitting in a seat, but I would never show up without Clearly being
Invited. The event is a One Day Pass at the Westin Hotel not too far from
where I would be staying--Rina's.
I have history with this Hotel.
I actually had a lovely time there once with Dr. Bernard Jensen.
He taught a wonderful seminar there organized by another man named Rick.
Then, I had some successes at this Hotel with Mark VIctor Hansen.
I had some Real Highs. I met Peter the Lion, one of the top New York
Agents who will--I would say--100% likely be at the BEA.
BEA stands for Book Expo America.
Book Expo America is the Dream Show for the Book Business,
as Mark so clearly identities it.
It is a business, and yet, the Forces behind the Business
Love it when Your Enchanted Gardener shows up and
behaves like Your Enchanted Gardener.
IF I had been doing less, It would have been healing to
connect with the Press Credential Folks.
I actually put some Juice into writing a Blog or Two with that in Mind,
but I have not had a Moment to Dedicate toward that kind of fulfillment.
I have made Magic Enchanted Moments both at the Westin and the BEA
that was once called the ABA.
It is not a place that I feel like heading without at least some YES's on the Other End
that Justify the Extreme Expense of Energy and TIme it will take to get up there.
The Price of Gas alone is now a Factor.
It does not seem Sensible to Commit $200.00 in gas likely,
and the Ticket of Admission more than $100.00, without the Potential of
a Few Opportunities to Earn some Money back.
Maybe I am not thinking of this is the right terms right now.
I am tired.
I get a YES when I feel into treating it as a Vacation
and being in Play Mode, but then, there are a lot of other
Stressers Operable in other parts of my life.
It feels like I would be heading up there to make a Cold Call,
as when a Salesman has nothing defiinite.
I don't even have my Focus in this moment of what
I would want to Pitch.
I thought that would be The Mini-Portable Enchanted Garden.
There have been times when I have set myself up at Rina's during
this event and used it to ReFocus who I am as a writer.
That would mean bringing up my Imac as well as my Printer.
That Show, I hardly made it into the door of the Event.
That was not a good strategy.
How many hours do I have to Prep something?
How is my Body Feeling?
What is my Energy like right now?
What is the Greatest Opportunity in the next 60 minutes?
What am I scheduled to do with my time today?
All these are very germain questions.

TODAY MONDAY, May 26, 2008:
Move toward complete with
the Slow Food Temecula event in the next 60 minutes.
Get a call back from Judith about meeting her at 11 AM
50 minutes from here.
Spend the afternoon with Ron and Friends in Encinitas,
celebrating the Holiday.
Email Rick?
Clothes need to be prepped.
Shirts washed.
When do I connect with Sanda about her needs
with the Refinance?
