Date: 1/4/2008 8:20:05 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2728 times So here I am. I have decided I would blog my January water fast. I will start tomorrow till the end of January, a total of 28 days. My intention is to detox and heal my chronic dermatitis. I believe that by day 22, there will be resolution of the disorder but I will continue-at mostup to day 28--till hunger returns.
My dermatitis is mild and diffuse and extends towards limbs and trunk. There is no oozing or bleeding. Pain is absent. Itch is occasional. Dryness affects lower legs and back.
My motivation for this water fast blog is to record the daily ups and downs as I attempt to clean up my health and kickstart a new life--and year--with a brand new body.
I use dandelion root and neem (extrenal and internal) to enhance the detoxification (though I have been told unnecessary).
I am aware of the discomforts of the process and am willing to see it through. I have a lot going for me in my life but I am greatly held back by an ailing body. Special thanks to my forever-wonderful boyfriend for I wouldn't be writing my blog if it were not for his encouragement to solve my current life problems "one problem at a time".
