The Day Before
It's the countdown to the fast. T - 22 hours
Date: 11/2/2007 9:29:14 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1712 times I've never done the Master Cleanse or any other fast before. I'm supposed to start tomorrow. I'm a little concerned about my willpower, or lack thereof. I've never been good with sticking with anything close to a diet. I figure if I blog about it, I'll be more inclined to stick with it because I won't want to admit my failure, albiet anonoymously online.
I'm not overweight, and this is not why I'm doing it. Basically, I feel like crap & I've been feeling worse over the past year. My energy level has been deteriorating, my allergies are horrible, I've developed weird food allergies (was prescribed an epi-pen harpoon) & I've been having stomach issues. I was vegetarian for a number of years but have steadily fallen off that bandwagon since 9/06. The culprit behind my deteriorating health? Perhaps.
I've been reading a lot about MC all week. My concern: Why is it so easy for some people & awful for others?
I'm also concerned because I get dizzy & lightheaded pretty easily especially during tough workouts when I haven't eaten that well that day. I'll tell you right now, if the dizziness gets out of control & the bathroom issues get bad at work, I'll be forced to quit. But I'm hoping that won't happen.
So, here goes nothing. I'm having my final dinner tonight --sushi with friends. Then I'll go home, have some tea, cross my fingers & go to bed.
