According to the BMI machine at the gym, I've lost a pound of fat. Anyway, I have taken a week off sort of to experiment with yoga and rehab my knee and shoulder. Shoulder is fine. I had a killer workout last week. I do not think I will go any heavier than 25# dumbbells and twenties on an olympic bar. I am going to mix it up a little and do different workouts so I can keep things interesting.
I had food poisoning yesterday. I called the gyno thinking it was my fibroid but today I feel great and my belly is flat...FLATTER than usual I want him to see if it is getting bigger or if all the things I'm doing is working. My health insurance is going to run out soon because I'll be going back to nursing school so I'm taking whatever advantage I can.
For the past week or so, I've been going to the gym after work and doing fifteen minutes of HIT cardio on the elliptical. I LOVE to go there after work because it helps me to unload the day and not take stuff home with me. Plus, I notice adding on the little extra helped me metabolically and I do feel better and am able to sleep better. After the HIT cardio, I sit in the sauna for at least fifteen minutes. Depends on when I leave work how long I sit in there. It's nice to relax there after a challenging shift. I used to like to go in there before work. I see that it's better after work.
One thing I've noticed since adding the extra exercise and herbal supplements is that my hair isn't turning gray anymore. I'm not getting any more wrinkles or creases on my face either. This cycle I didn't get a lot of period acne. I think adding back the daily green smoothie was wise. The cafeteria doesn't serve my favourite veg burger anymore so I won't be eating there...well nothing cooked anyway.
