Today’s weight-57 kilos
I am sorry I skipped a day of posting. I booked myself into a spa (massage, pedicure, head massage)and it took 5 hours followed by my errands and basically had no time left.
I have finished three days of water fasting today, I spent the day in bed because I blacked out in the morning and hurt my head even though I was very careful to move slowly so just crawled back into bed and havent left all day. I am sleeping more surprisingly. I wake up very early and then just lay in bed like a old woman, I am used to being active and this is not good. I drank 2 litres ... read more
- Weight today was a surprise, I lost 2 kilos more bringing the total down to 3.5 kilos and my tummys flatter than a chessboard.
- Day 01- Water Fast 21 mon
If you’re interested in fasting of any sort, do spend some time to read up as preparation, Based on research and reports, the first 3 days will be the toughest due to the hunger. Its more habitual than anything else.
I ate so much last night and the last few days preparing for a fast. I was scared that the urge to suddenly taste chocolate or a fudge sundae was too much. The best way is to drink regularly throughout the day before any hunger pangs kick in.

Starting Weight: 60.5kg (I am normally 56 kgs but I have been eating fatty food and not exercising for the winter months)
Today’s Weight: 59kg (lost 1.5 kgs, its all water weight I guess.)

Research is the most important thing you can do before starting a fast. I spent a lot of time researching, and found this article by Dr Fuhrman who is an expert on fasting and healing using aggressive nutritional management. There is a lot of pseudo-science, misinformation and myths associated with fasting and most people hold irrational fears of it.
