Today has been much easier, i don’t know if it was because I was so busy or that i didnt drink any water at all. I was just too tired to get up and walk to the water station.
Tomorrow hope to get a whole day’s sleep and just not be disturbed, plenty of fluids also. visit the page

- Day two of water fast
Weight: 175lbs
Woke up weighed myself and five pounds of water weight gone. went back to bed. its not as bad as yesterday because i’m in bed most of today i think. I’m also not as hungry but i’m thinking about food, and i think i’ld be hard pressed to refuse a meal right now. I have to keep on reminding myself why i’m doing this however sometimes i forget. - 1st day of water fast day one on lent.
Today has been very hard, i have been battling myself from eating, everywhere i turn i want to just quit the idea of a fast. And this is day one, if this is the way it is what will happen in day two and three, or twenty...i don’t know whether i should just quit before i’ve even really began. I have to focus more on the end i suppose, i’m just holding on by the grace of God, right now, my head is heavy, my eyes are dry i feel really down, i’m hoping tomorrow will be better. Thank God it’s Monday, I love the weekends but for me its difficult to diet, the company, the parties, the pressure to be eat, drink.
But i’m so looking forward to the fast. I’m on fruit pre lenten so it should get me into the whole water fast.
Praying for the grace to last 40 days. It will be a new me, a new lifestyle. I’m looking forward to it. visit the page

Today hasn’t been the best day. I’ve lain in bed sleeping and eating all day. I haven’t made the best choices, but have kept in mind that my water fast starts on wednesday so i have to prepare for it - i think my mind is there but my body not yet, or maybe the other way round. I haven’t stuck to salads and just eaten what is available, beef, beans, corn...weekends are hard for me so i kind of expected this but not this bad. I’ll try and be more controlled tomorrow.

Just woke up at 0630 in the morning. took a picture of my stomach, i wanted to post it but thought against it. It looks large and distended. I’m hoping that taking the picture will remind me of where I came from.
Today havent done anything yet, not hungry at all, woke up with the alarm but wasn’t stressed about it. Its saturday no work.
I initially thought I would go on an apple fast today, but as I don’t want to backslide and want to keep myself focussed on Wednesday’s Lenten fast I think I won’t. Ofcourse I’m keeping it 80% raw, I’ve been doing that since February 28th. I’ve been about ... read more

I am 5ft4inches weight 175lbs. I’m aiming for an initial weight loss of 30lbs once there i hope to go on a mainly raw vegan diet. In the last week I’ve been really trying to stay on top of this and have consumed mostly salads, fruits and the occasional chicken, fish and today salmon salad in preparation for the start of my water fast on 9th March.
I have attempted fasts in the past and have never got past a couple of hours before the headaches. So I hope that this fast will also strengthen my will power.
