Pastry, Nancy Pelosi was supporting John Murtha, over now Majority leader John Hoyner.

See this is how it works. People have to run for these positions and have to be elected by their respective parties. John Murtha was running for this position,he did not get enough votes(are you following me?) John Hoyner got more votes, he won.

Understand, Nancy Pelosi can't appoint these guys to these positions. THEY HAVE TO BE ELECTED.

I keep tellling you if you were to pick up a paper or read soemthing other than the Drudge Report you'd know that Nancy Pelosi had been pushing for the nomination of John Murtha due to his continued outcry and work on ending the war in IRAQ
