Hi there,

I had mine one month and two days - and thank God I am rid of it!

In one month I had all the pain and bleeding I have had my whole life put together.

A friend of mine had hers for two and a half years and she was sick all the time. All the doctors told her that it was not the IUD - but they could not find anything else wrong with her. She had it removed almost a year ago and she is healthy again. No moods, pains, hot flashes etc. So if it was not the IUD, what was it??? Strange how all the symptons dissapeared with the IUD?

After mine was removed the constant pain I had was gone immediately!!! And I am still fine. Thursday it will be two weeks since I have had it taken out and I have not had one day of pain (doctor says it similar to contractions) since then.

He still wanted to replace it though with another one for in case this one was not sitting right! No ways!!! And the help line tried to convince me to just hold out a little longer - another two months? two years? No no no!! I would have killed someone or would have gone mad from pain.

I am glad my hell is over - if you have all this problems, get rid of it now!! You are far too young to mess up your body like this. You are right, we (and doctors for that matter) should not fiddle with woman hormones - they come back to attack you!
