I looked for information on the internet before I had the Mirena inserted, unfortunately I didn't find what I'm finding now. If I did, I wouldnt have gotten it. I am suffering many of the symptoms everyone else has, I had a period for 6 wks straight after insertion then it stopped completely (I'm wondering if I'm pregnant), I have abdominal cramps every day, up until about 3 weeks ago i was suffering from insomnia, now I can hardly stay awake, I get headaches, I get sweats, I'm moody, I can't lose my pregnancy weight, Very painful sex, husband gets poked by the threads during sex (he hates it) when I do get up enough nerve to try, bad back aches, It's all horrible. But the cramps and just trying to stay awake while caring for my two little ones are the worst (And the painful sex, but I just avoid that, which doesn't make my husband too happy.) It's awful. If I had only known...Plus the doctor didnt bother to tell me that there are higher risks of tubal pregnancy, and if you get pregnant, you pretty much have to terminate it with the removal of the Mirena. I want to see this stop. Too many people are suffering and were never warned of the side effects of this product. The doctor seems to think everything will get better. Is it worth it to suffer for a 6 months, a year, to have it get better, maybe?

I'm all for the class action!
If anyone is considering getting the Mirena? My advice...DON'T!
