Today it is exactly two weeks since I have had mine inserted.

My period is only three days normally with very little bleeding. My period was suppose to start on Friday - it started on Thursday and yes it is still going strong after six days.

I contacted the help desk this morning wanting to know if I had it removed today if I will be refunded my money. I was told that the pain and bleeding is rather normal. I must give it another week. I will do that but if it does not improve I will have it removed, refund or no refund.

I had the Mirena inserted purely because of painful menstruation and yes now I have had two weeks of constance menstruation pain. Sure seems not worth the effort!
