Have you seen Monty's video, shown on PBS (KCTS, Seattle)?

That is even more impressive than written words can convey. At his ranch, Monty demonstrates "starting" a horse in an indoor arena. Visitors watch from a gallery above.

In the KCTS video, he works with a 'damaged' horse. His procedure is simple, and anyone can 'read' his method just from watching. I guarantee that just seeing the process, and its effect on the animal, will change anyone's attitude toward all communications, forever.

The moment Monty calls "Join-up" (TM) is stunning, touching some chord deep within.

In fact, some visitors faint at the sight.

Monty says, from some comments he has heard, that the fainting may happen to some women who have been abused.

To me, viewing Monty's method in practice was proof that we only need to demonstrate better ways of doing things, in order to teach people.

Monty has 'started' foster children this way.

He has also written a book, "Horse Sense for People" which I would love to read.

A school in Brittain decided to embrace Monty's methods, with heart-warming results. He visited their school when he was in England to help with horses.

Monty was deeply touched by the school's success, and their regard for him.

Monty learned the 'language' of horses when he was a young boy, simply by watching their 'body language'. It is a whole other dimension of communication, that rings true in all creatures. I can't find any other way to describe it.

I know that seeing the video changed my life forever.
