I called the doctor today and they told me it was "normal" to just give it a few more weeks.

I will . . . . but if my period doesn't end eventually I think I'll end up having it removed.
OF course you're not going to end up pregnant if you've ALWAYS got your period ;)

I'm about sick of it already!
I'll give it the few more weeks though.
