Yes, I have been suffering from vertigo among other things.
I had my Mirena inserted in July of 2006. It was a very painful experience, so painful I couldn't drive home from the doctors office. I bled for about 3 weeks straight but have not had a period since. About a month ago I stared getting very dizzy everytime I would stand up or bend over. I was worried it was my sugar. The dizziness has only got worse. I then started having back pain and thought that it was from the abs workout I had been doing to get rid of my postpartum belly. But I stopped the workout and the pain is still there. I broke my ankle years ago and had surgery, so I thought the severe pain in my ankle was from the arthritis I have and thought since I was favoring my ankle that is why I was having knee pain. Now after reading all the effects everyone has had, I realize it is because of the IUD. I also have been lossing my hair by the handful. The doctor that inserted it has the IUD herself. She told me how wonderful it is. Yes, maybe it is wonderful for her, but it is obviously not for others. I would like to know how people feel after they have it removed. Are these problems perminate?
