If in a car, it could be that the car headlights are out of alignment, pointed up to the sky. If the headlight beam hits the streetlight, it will go out.

Or... maybe you have unusual Electro-magnetic Force within you. I know a woman who has to have EMF disrupters in her house to get any of her electronics to work right.
