I beg to differ - it has everything to do with love - or, that the lack of love is the ONLY missing element in the goal of peace there.
The early settlers SHOULD have loved the Indians, the Indians showed them love at first [Thanksgiving fables].
The Israeli settlers should love their neighbors and the neighbors should love the settlers, and then together they could share the land, and sharing THAT land is the only solution to their conflict.

i read some of the link you sent. Yes, there is every reason to hate. It is horrible, and as an outsider I can't pretend to relate to the depth of horrors there, for both sides.
The presence of hate negates the power of love, and thats how the mideast war still goes on. I do see one side as being the worst offenders*, but does it really matter when both sides have enough revenge in their hearts to last for another generation, and that if they act on the revenge it will be given to new generations.
* dont want to say it
So I guess you think I am off the mark in suggesting LOVE as way out. Ok, but I bet you agree with me but just don't see any possibility of it happening, right?
