So glad you have convinced yourself you are NOT OCD. Having dated a guy who was
for 2 years, I should know...ggg. I missed his quirkiness after I moved on. One
of his main obsessions was knocking of the refrigerator! I often catch myself thinking
of him as I open mine but as yet, have not taken up rapping in his memory...ggg.

When I was dealing with my own healing crisis and my naturopath said it would take
7 years to completely heal, I was overwhelmed, but then, like you, became focused
and jumped into the task with both arms and legs. I commend you on your own efforts
to remain focused on your healing path and of course, believe your efforts will
really pay off.

I have considered an alternative health profession and suppose my own healing work
can be considered such, but more precise, I would have liked to become a naturopath
but most states still do not recognize a naturopathic license and I believe the liability for them is much higher and governmental scrutiny HIGH. In my own work, I find that more than a few people want a quick fix or to be able to blame someone for their failure rather than choose to own their choices and participate in their healing process. We had one woman who basically dared us to cure her when she had come to us reeking of decay. She resisted and confronted everyone and then I finally said, "we can help you live, or help you die, but you must choose what you want to do!". She seemed stunned but had finally *got* it. She went back to Europed cured of her breast cancer. I feel like people have given up believing in their own power and that of their body to heal itself when properly supported. Even our pets understand this concept better than we do, and will fast themselves back to health.

Anyway, forgive my own rambling...ggg. If I can help my friends and family, those who have the ears to hear what I share about my own research, then I will. Otherwise, I suspect by the time alternative medicine is legitimized legally, I will be too old to care...ggg. I had a relative who was a doctor on horseback and packed a gun along with his medicine bags and *mountain* wisdom. People were glad to see him come and his experience was valued. Nowadays, its a different dream and those of us lucky enough to have this wisdom passed to us or who can find it, can really help ourselves. Dont pay attention to the naysayers...they do not live your life...ggg.

It would be cool if times did shift and lawyers could support the rights of patients to have more choices. Right now, I cannot use AMA doctors because of my choice to use alternative ones. Go figure...the hippocratic oath is hypocritical!

Have a great sunday~~~!

Many blessings,
Zoe
