I remember spending four hundred dollars in Whole Foods once. I had two bags. At the time I justified the expense for organic makeup and toiletries because I was getting married. I use the stuff very sparingly because I'm not using that stuff once it's done. I couldn't believe how much the rawfood snacks were. OneLuckyDuck was charging seven dollars for four biscotti which is ridiculous. As for organic foods, I didn't buy certain things there because other stores had it cheaper. WFM has a good bulk grain section but I know to stay away from the Whole Body section and also the meat section. Not eating meat saved me a lot of money at WFM *lol* It does put you in a downcast mood when you can't get the good things you know is right for your family. I got into that mood today when I was thinking how I'm going to buy laundry soap. I remembered that Dr.Bronner soap does a goood job at laundry so I didn't have to scrap any pennies together to buy toxic poison Cheer or Tide soap. I was suspicious of organics at Walmart but I definately see that it's necessary for those who want organics but can't work WFM into their budgets.
