Today is the first day of the rest of your life! It sounds like you have a plan to embark on your healing path. I think the synchronicity of the shopkeeper holding the door open to you was a good sign. Glad you found a hard copy of the book since it is great to read over and over to instill motivation and to fortify your resolve.

I am really glad to see you blogging too since for me, that meant that I had to be honest with myself and my own effort. I think you will find it very helpful especially if you do it...even the low days are good to record. It is also a good way to practice good self-talk. Like a letter to yourself which will help you integrate your inner desires. It will take willpower but we know its in there...sounds like you have been successful in the past so you can do it again.

Be sure to visit the MC forum and ask for support or to share your triumphs too. The MC is a personal journey and yet it is helpful to include others since often they have dealt with similar obstacles during the cleanse and can share ways to "stay on track"...ggg.
