Thanks for your views; just remember most people are looking at the trees but there is a larger forest... Every disagreement in history or in political or financial, or business, or sports, or war has had at least two different groups...  An us and them; depending on which side of the aisle you happen to be on or may want to be on...   Nothing new hare folks...

The reasons for the conflict are always clear to the two differing sides... HUH!!  But are really just greed and / or control or domination...  The reason may vary but the intent and results are always the same... " My way or no way!"

The major concern is who has what and who wants what ever they have; generally...  Now there are really just two type of disagreements either over things or principles...  The first is easy compared to the latter...  The oil is easy compared to the Islam/ Jewish / Western world view...   There are many others, you can point to in the world today...  I may just elaborate more on this soon; on my web site... www.simplytruth.com...
