I just talked with Victoria and Burgie. They told me Walter's birthday was Jan 27, 1921. That must be the final word. . .they would know for sure.
The Andrew Sisters story was a fable. . .he just like to put us on and laugh about it with his family members. . .he got a kick out of it, Victoria said.
Call her she's real nice to talk to.
