I think it is perhaps much better to use the clay already in suspension. Its called colloidal. Yerba Prima makes a good one...Great Plains I think it is called. I can recommend that. You may want to do some shakes after the cleanse. I could tell energetically it did do a good "mop-up" for me. The shake tastes much better if you use the colloidal and also hot water. Its like a warm liquid porridge and easily downed if warm...cold, yuck. The challenge is to keep hydrated so if you do not have the time to really focus on that, leave them alone, you will tend to get clogged up....
Watch out with clay in the bath too so it does not run down the drain. It is best to let the clay sink to the bottom and run it out in the morning and then scoop out the residue. I would recommend putting it on and going out and hosing off or perhaps the foot baths which are fabulous. My friend brings clay back from Arkansas from his crystal digging forays, and I coat my feet in that, let it dry and then soak in hot water to further the detox.
