Good article, but it is out of date in something important: L-tryptophan is BACK ON THE MARKET! And, for some people, it can work much better than "5htp", the alternative formula version of tryptophan that has been on the market all along. REAL L-tryptophan is now available - just do a search online, and if in doubt as to whether you'll be one of the people who does or does not respond to 5htp, do a search for +tryptophan +capsules and -5htp

It really helped me - the real thing, not 5htp. Wish that old story about tryptophan being banned would stop circulating - it's no longer true, and it keeps people from searching for it when it could help them.
